Death Valley

Traveled over 100 miles through the starkly beautiful landscape of Death Valley to Las Vegas. As we are well into fall (autumn) the temperatures were quite moderate, only getting into the 80's (mid to high 20's)  The record is 134 F (over 50 C) in 1913! Stopped off at an old borax extraction mine, and took in the views from Zubriskie Point.  Las Vegas was a Disneyland for adults, not really our scene.
